I was in Redding during the Northern California big fire season this summer and was able to snap a few shots of the sunset through the smoke. I would like to enter one of these pictures in a contest and I would like your opinion of which one to enter. Click on the link below. I liked 1, 18, 19 the bed.
ReplyDeleteJPEG 051, 056, 058, 060, 062...I didn't see other numbers. I really like the balance of the sky, mountains and grass in each of those. I also found more drama in the darker exposed pictures.
ReplyDeleteI like 42, 44 & 61. I like how the smoke is so visible on 42 and I really like the composition on 44. I also like how 61 has that fence post to add interest and it feels like the fire is close enough that that field is waiting for it to come.

ReplyDeleteEm and I liked 41, 58, and 60. The first one shows a good contrast between the landscape and the sky. The other two are more dramatic and we liked the look of the sun nestling into the mountains at sunset.
ReplyDeleteThe ones that touched me the most were 60,40,and 51. It is too bad that something so devastating produced such beautiful pictures.

ReplyDeleteSlide #11 (0051) is the best (IMHO). I also like the lighter pictures #3 (0042), #9 (0049) and #14 (0054) with the layered mountains and the intense sun. Beautiful.
