I ♥ Faces Kids - No Flash!
I ♥ Faces Adults - No Flash!
This week, for the I ♥ Faces photo contest, all submissions must be taken without a flash. I usually go flash-less about half the time, so there were a lot of photos to choose from. Here is one from a recent photo shoot. Lindsey and her new little one look great in that creamy light coming from the nursery window!

Mirror, mirror, on the wall...
Shrek, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were all having lunch together.
Shrek said, "I have always thought that I'm the strongest man in the world, but how can I be sure?"
Brad Pitt said, "I'm pretty sure I'm the hottest man alive but I've never had it confirmed."
Angelina Jolie agreed. "I'm told I'm the sexiest of them all, but sometimes I wonder."
They all decided that the best way to find out if their beliefs were true was to approach the wicked Queen's mirror to confirm for them whether Shrek was the strongest, Brad Pitt was the hottest and Angelina Jolie was the sexiest.
They agreed to meet again the next day for lunch to discuss their findings.
The next day Shrek walked up with a smile. "Well, it's true. The mirror told me that I am the strongest man in the world."
Angelina followed and boasted, "It is true, it has been confirmed that I am the sexiest woman alive!"
Brad Pitt walked in, head bent, tears in his eyes and asked...
"Who the heck is Mark Mayo?!!"

My Friend, Mickey
The Goldilocks Chair Syndrome
Superman and I went shopping for a new recliner. This is no easy feat with a super hero. Some chairs were too small, some were too soft, and a lot of them were too expensive (at least Goldilocks didn't have that problem!).

Watch Out for Flaming Arrows!
This past week I took a trip to Portland with my mom to pickup a new puppy. When we stopped at Harry & David's in Medford, I happened to mention something to my mom about her new baby. The lady that was waiting on us gave Mom a strange look, so we had to quickly explain that it was a dog, not a real baby.
The trip there and back was smooth and uneventful, but while we were in Portland, we were attacked by indians (native american, not the other kind) and a flaming arrow hit our tire and punctured it. We managed to get away, but by the time we caught up with the wagon train, our tire was flat. Thank goodness for the Cavalry! The next morning we spent an hour and a half in the tire shop waiting for new tires. Now that's an exciting place!
Here is a picture of our newest edition to the extended family. I guess that would make her my sister. She would be the cute one!

Fun in Phoenix
Here are some pictures from the past few days in Phoenix.
Our room. Nothing fancy, but it works.
Mom relaxing while we try to figure out what to do for dinner.

Mom and my Aunt Barbara at the Good Egg restaurant where we had brunch.

Outside the Good Egg after we stuffed ourselves.

Back at the hotel with Barbara, Uncle Denny, my cousin, Bob, his wife, Pam, and their sons, Ethan and Evan.

"This is annoying! Stop taking my picture!"
