Lady Bird Johnson Grove

Just past Orick on Highway 101 is Bald Hills Road. Follow this road to the top of the hill and you are in for a special treat. A 1-mile loop through an old growth redwood forest is dedicated to the late Lady Bird Johnson and is a fun little hike for the whole family. No dogs are allowed on the trail, so we carried the "rodents" and no one seemed to mind. In fact, they were photographed almost as much as the beautiful scenery!
